Intelliject has 33 patents issued and more than 60 others pending.
Our IP portfolio has been built around key constituent parts, sub-assemblies and their functionality rather than a specific finished design. This allows us to be true to our vision of developing delivery systems highly specific to the needs of a particular patient population, while still protecting our intellectual property.
As an example, the very different needs of an acute rescue therapy that is to be kept with the patient at all times, versus an infrequently administered chronic medicine taken in a regular routine, may mandate products with quite different size, look and feel.
Each device, however, is designed to incorporate elements of the same key proprietary technologies that support improved effectiveness and safety.
