Overall likelihood to achieve desired outcome with prospective Intelliject product compared to standard of care

  • In a head-to-head study simulating emergency use of Intelliject’s product vs. the currently marketed products, likelihood of success was measured in two distinct ways:
    • On the rigorous standard of the user’s ability to administer the medicine as per the label instructions for use, users were 8x more likely to achieve this with the Intelliject product.
    • On the more lax standard of receiving a clinically meaningful dose of the medicine (i.e. errors vs. labeled instructions were permitted if they would not prevent administration of the drug) users were almost 4x more likely to achieve this with the Intelliject product.

Cost-effectiveness

  • Cost consequence data have been presented at the International Society for Pharmaco-economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) annual meeting, comparing Intelliject’s product to a current standard of care. This data showed that the Intelliject solution would be as cost-effective as the current standard of care, even if priced at a substantial premium.

Overall user preference

  • Intelliject’s Product was Preferred by Patients and Healthcare Providers with Knowledge of Available Options:
    • In an early study intended to identify design improvements, current users and caregivers had an overall preference for the Intelliject option versus currently available options of 73%
    • In a subsequent study involving healthcare professionals with recent experience using the currently available products – wherein the Intelliject product had incorporated some design improvements identified in the earlier study – 100% of the healthcare professionals expressed a preference for Intelliject’s product
